 The 22nd Teát celebration sponsored by the Union of Vietnamese Student Associations in Southern California (UVSA), will again take place this year in Garden Grove Park . This year's festival is doubling in size, extending its site in the park. A full schedule is planned, including music and dance performances, contests, the Miss Vietnam of Southern California pageant, fashion shows, as well as numerous booths and delicious food.

The festivities for the Year of the Monkey will take place Friday, January 23 through Sunday, January 25. Garden Grove Park is located at 9301 Westminster Blvd , Garden Grove . For more information consult the UVSA website: http://www.thsv.org/special.tet2004.

The Little Saigon Teát Parade takes place Saturday morning, January 24 on Bolsa Avenue between Magnolia and Bushard, starting ca. 10:00 AM. Contact number is (714) 200-4132.

UCI will have two booths at the Teát Festival. This year the UCI Medical Center is participa- ting and will offer free blood pressure and glucose tests. For the first time UCI will have an entry in the Teát Parade, featuring Chancellor Ralph Circerone and his wife, Professor Carol Cicerone, Vietnamese American faculty, student organizations, and alumni. Look for us in the parade and come visit our booths!
