SEA Archive Recognized by Nguoi Viet

The Nguoi Viet Daily News, the Westminster based oldest and most prestigious Vietnamese language newspaper outside of Vietnam, commemorated its 18th anniversary and 4,000th issue (November 19th), on November 18, 1996 at a gala dinner at Little Saigon's Grand Garden restaurant. On this occasion the Southeast Asian Archive was recognized by the presentation of a plaque for its efforts "in preserving Vietnamese history and cultural heritages, and in developing a mutual understanding between communities."
