Stormy Escape Published

Stormy escape: a Vietnamese woman's account of her 1980 flight, Kim Ha's English translation of her 1992 book, Qua con bao du, will be presented at a reception on Sunday, February 16. Published by McFarland & Company the book tells the story of the escape of Vinh and Kim Ha and their young children from Saigon through Cambodia to refugee camps in Thailand. The reception is open to the public and will take place at 1:00 PM, at the Vietnamese Catholic Center, 1538 N. Century, Santa Ana (corner of Harbor & Westminster Ave.).
