SEA Archive Exhibit Continues

The fall 1998 exhibit in the UCI Langson Library's Reynolds Gallery, "Documenting the Southeast Asian Refugee Experience," continues through the month of April. More than 100 people from the UCI campus, Southeast Asian communities, and the general public attended the exhibit opening on November 5. Featured as speakers on the program were Professor Emeritus of History Spencer Olin and Professor Pham Cao Duong, Lecturer in Asian American Studies and former Chair of the Archive's Advisory Board.

The exhibit focuses on the holdings of the Southeast Asian Archive and includes publications, works of art, letters, manuscripts, and artifacts. Donors of materials to the Archive are recognized in the exhibit. Copies of the checklist, which contains the exhibit texts and a list of donors to the Archive, are available in the Library or by request to Anne Frank.

"Documenting the Southeast Asian Refugee Experience" can be viewed during the hours the Library is open: Monday-Thursday, 8:00AM-11:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM-6:00 PM, Saturday, 9:00-6:00 PM, Sunday, 12 noon-11:00 PM.
