New Journal
The first issue of The Journal of Vietnamese Studies, the new peer-reviewed scholarly journal to be published by the University of California Press, will be available in August 2006.
The journal aims to publish original humanities and social science research about Vietnamese history, politics, culture and society. It also will include important Vietnam-related topics such as the Vietnamese diaspora and the “Vietnam War,” as well as in-depth book reviews and translations of important Vietnamese language documents and texts.
Co-editors are Peter Zinoman and Mariam Beevi Lam, joined by editorial board members Nguyen Vo Thu Huong, Tuong Vu, George Dutton, Charles Wheeler, Nguyen Nguyet Cam, and Gina Masequesmay.
