Visit of Nguyễn Chí Thiện
Renowned poet, Nguyễn Chí Thiện http://vietnamlit.org/nguyenchithien/index.htmla and journalist Jean Libby visited the Southeast Asian Archive recently. On hand to meet the visitors were Librarians Anne Frank and Daniel Tsang, Student Assistant Dạt Nguyễn, Professor Charles Wheeler, UCI History Department, and Professor Mariam Beevi, UC Riverside’s Comparative Literature Department and Center for Southeast Asian Studies. Mr. Thiện presented copies of his books to the Archive and Ms. Libby gave copies of materials about his life and activities.
