New Student Group at UCI

The Vietnamese American Coalition (VAC) of UC Irvine held its first meeting on February 11. The purpose of the new group "is to promote active involvement and voice issues pertaining to the Vietnamese American community, as well as addressing social and political concerns relevant to Vietnam." Future plans including working with the Vietnamese Community of Orange County, Inc., and participating in the Vietnamese American Student Conference, to be held this Spring at UCLA.
