Sky is Falling Programs

The Asia Society of Southern California, in cooperation with the Los Angeles Public Library, is sponsoring a "Meet the Author/ Bookreading" program with Gayle Morrison, author of Sky is Falling: an oral history of the CIA's evacuation of the Hmong from Laos. The event will take place Thursday, March 4 in Meeting Room A (1st floor), Los Angeles Public Library, 630 West 5th Street, Los Angeles. Validated parking is available at 400 S. Flower. On Wednesday, May 12 Ms. Morrison will be speaking at the UC Irvine Asian American Studies noon program series, co-sponsored by the Cross Cultural Center, and the Southeast Asian Archive. The 12:00 PM lecture will take place at the Cross Cultural Center.

Both events are free and open to the public.
