Vietnam Summer 2006 Travel/ Study
UC Riverside Extension is offering a five-week summer travel study at Hue University, July 31-Sptember 2, 2006. The program is open to both UC and non-UC students. Students can earn eight credits by taking History 184, “The Vietnam Wars,” and History 190, “Independent Study” or “Advanced Vietnamese.” All students will receive basic language instruction.
Approximate fees for UC students are $3100 and $3600 for non-UC students.
Trip leader is Professor David Biggs from UC Riverside’s History Department. Professor Biggs has spent over six years in Vietnam as a teacher and researcher and has extensive knowledge of the Hue region. He can be contacted at dbiggs@ucr.edu.
