New Student Assistants

My name is Nguyễn Tấn Đạt. I am a second year student with the dream of studying biology and political science. Because I left with my family for America when I was ten years old, I still remember the sad as well as happy memories from Việt Nam. Even though my parents and family suffered a great deal under the tyranny of the Vietnamese Communists, I had my fun childhood. I still remember the red hot summer days when I sat on top of the mango tree and ate fruits and observed the great land (yes, I was young so I was not afraid that the branch would snap). Oh, how beautiful the land was! And one day not far from now, I will be able to return and relive the great old memories and build a bright future.

Warm greetings,
My name is Ngocson Dang and I am one of the assistants at the SEA Archive. Have you been to the archive? We have a large collection of materials specifically related to Southeast Asians. Want to know which movies had honorable mentions in the last 20 years? We have them. Pictures of past beauty pageant winners? Yup, those too. It is truly a great place to find just about anything concerning Southeast Asians.
Let me take a wild guess. You have probably been to the Langson Library before. Did you know that the archive is in there? We are on the third floor of the Langson Library in room 360. Come see what the archive is all about the next time you visit the library. We always welcome visitors. And, if you play checkers or enjoy watching mixed martial arts competitions, please come by. I am a big fan of both and would love to meet people with similar interests. Thank you and I wish you a happy day.
