A SEAA of Memories

The UCI Libraries spring exhibit, A SEAA of Memories: Our Changing Southeast Asian American Communities celebrates the completion of two major grant projects for the Southeast Asian Archive: the processing of archival collections and the creation of SEAAdoc: Documenting the Southeast Asian American Experience, a new web resource providing access to selected materials from the Southeast Asian Archive. SEAAdoc will debut this summer.

From the beginning donors have played an important role in the growth of the Archive through generous gifts of materials. A SEAA of Memories features nine collections and their donors.

The exhibit opening will take place in the lobby of Langson Library on Wednesday, June 1 at 5:30 PM and will feature a talk by Professor Linda Vo from UCI’s Asian American Studies Department. Please RSVP by May 25 to (949) 824-5300 or partners@lib.uci.edu. The exhibit will run through October.
