Vietnamese International Film Festival

The first Vietnamese Film Festival (VIFF) will take place over two consecutive weekends in October 2003, hosted by the UCI School of Humanities' Film & Video Center. VIFF is sponsored by the Vietnamese American Arts & Letters Association (VAALA) and the Vietnamese Language and Culture (VNLC) at UCLA. It will be the first film festival dedicated to filmmakers of the Vietnamese diaspora.

Film and video submissions are now being accepted. There is no time limit on when the film was made, no limit on content, nor any submission fees. Submissions of narratives, documentaries, shorts, and music videos are encouraged. The deadline is June 30, 2003.
